From early December to March, several warming stations are installed throughout the city for visitors wishing to warm up while exploring in winter. Chairs, a gas fireplace, fir trees to protect from the wind plus a cabin or a patio heater will wait for guests at the stations. Watch out for the special program that will liven up the places on various days.

  • 1 Parc Félix-Leclerc

    In the heart of Petit-Champlain pedestrian street.

  • 2 Parc Champlain

    At the end of rue Petit-Champlain, close to the Québec-Lévis ferry terminal.

  • 3 Musée de la civilisation

    On the forecourt of the museum.

  • 4 Place de l'Hôtel-de-Ville

    Between the City Hall and Notre-Dame de Québec Basilica-Cathedral.

  • 5 Place D’Youville

    Located by the famous ice rink, just across the ramparts.

  • 6 Place Richard-Garneau

    At the corner of Avenue Cartier and boul. René-Lévesque.

  • 7 Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec

    In front of the Gérard-Morrisset pavilion on the Plains of Abraham.

  • 8 Parvis de l’église Saint-Jean-Baptiste

    The place to take a break while shopping in the friendly Saint-Jean-Baptiste neighbourhood.

  • 9 Place du parvis de l'église Saint-Roch

    In front of the majestic Saint-Roch church.

  • 10 La forêt enchantée

    Near Québec City's Grand Marché (Farmers' market)

  • 11 Station de la Pointe-aux-Lièvres

    The perfect place to stretch the family, on skates or on inner tubes.

  • 12 Place Charles-H.-Blais

    A stone's throw from Avenue Maguire, the commercial street of Sillery.
