During the month of March, festive decorations to make a nod to the Irish holiday are installed in several shopping streets of the city including, among others, in Petit-Champlain.

On March 25, the popular St. Patrick's Day Parade returns to the streets of the city with the famous pipe and drums bands from the police departments of New York, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia and Toronto.
