St. Patrick’s Day festivities

Upcoming dates TBA

Festive decorations, thematic menus and a virtual commemorative documentary are offered this year to underline the presence of Irish people or hearts in Quebec!

The Town Hall as well as the following commercial arteries will display decorations in the colors of St. Patrick's Day:

  • Cartier Avenue
  • Saint-Jean Street
  • Saint-Joseph Street
  • Rue du Petit-Champlain
  • Place Royale
  • 3rd Avenue

Starting March 11, several local restaurateurs will be offering Irish-themed menus, in collaboration with Quebec Table Gourmande. Thus, until March 20, the curious will be able to order table d'hôte menus featuring traditional Irish recipes and flavours. For those who want a complete experience, Irish food and beer pairings will be offered, as well as whiskey suggestions to taste. Finally, free music lists will also be offered to participants.

The festivities will culminate on March 17, on the feast of St. Patrick's Day, with the broadcast of a virtual commemorative show Quebec Remembers (special edition): From Ireland to Quebec.
