We encourage you to get there early! You can stroll before going to see the performances. Stop for an aperitif on a patio on 3e Avenue in Limoilou or on St-Joseph street in Saint-Roch neighbourhood—you’ll be amazed by the variety and quality of restaurants on these two bustling streets. Afterwards, head to the performance of your choice to kick off your unforgettable theatre-filled evening!

Watch the performances in any order you like or over several evenings by taking in one or two per evening. The format is completely adaptable. You can watch a performance more than once and have a completely different experience depending on where you’re standing.

Immerse Yourself in Five Weird-and-Wonderful Worlds

Parcours du Carrefour international de théâtre

Où tu vas quand tu dors en marchant…? is a series of five original pieces created by five teams of designers. Let Terre promise transport you to an excursion in a camping located beside a highway, presented as the last oasis of colour and freedom. Have an ecstatic and elevated experience while crossing the Lavigueur bridge with Points de suspensions. Marvel at L'Anse-à-Vaillant and its performative fresco in homage to the communities of fishermen, to the beauty of the coastline and to the power of the sea. Walk through L'embâcle des sans-soucis, a critical commentary of the collective lack of care of consumers about environmental issues. Finally, step into a poetic and out of sync vision of Québec City’s emblematic buildings with Jeux d'échelles.

Did you Know?

In addition to the walk-through theatre experience, Carrefour international de théâtre will be putting on plays in theatres around the city from May 23 to June 8.

Enjoy yourself!
