Things to Do at Night in Québec City

There’s no shortage of lively bars and pubs within the city walls. You’ll find a bunch on Rue Saint-Jean, both inside the fortifications and in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste neighbourhood. Avenue Cartier also has its share of charming pubs. And of course, Grande Allée is THE place to go to experience the Québec City nightlife. In the Lower Town you’ll find a variety of clubs in Saint-Roch along Rue du Parvis and Avenue Saint-Joseph.

For the perfect end to a great day, hit up one of the city’s movie theatres and catch a new release. Arthouse movie buffs will find a more distinctive lineup at Le Clap and Cinéma Cartier. For an extra wow factor, snag a ticket to Canada’s biggest silver screen at the Galeries de la Capitale IMAX theatre. 

If you’re feeling playful, Québec City has plenty of options for wholesome nighttime fun. You can bounce on a trampoline at iSaute or have a shoot-out with friends at Laser Game Evolution.
