If you’re looking for a special place to celebrate the ringing in of the New Year, look no further than Québec City. From December 28th to 31st 2023, Grande Allée will shine as never for Toboggan, Québec City's New Year celebration. A free festive program awaits visitors from around the world who will gather to end 2023 and start 2024 in the best possible way.

Québec City is a joyful place all year round, but New Year's Day is certainly the highlight of the show. Here is how to celebrate New Year’s in Québec City like a boss!

Don’t Worry About the Weather… Québec City Heats Things Up

While embracing the cold is part of the fun, Québec City knows how to heat things up so you can get the most out of New Year’s. Nestled in the middle of historical buildings that give the city its unique charm, the Toboggan event spreads a contagious warmth, even under the snow! Sit around outdoor fireplaces and take advantage of heated terraces (and a few cocktails!). Of course, the party itself will heat things up rather nicely as well.

    An Outdoor Nightclub

Toboggan is renewing this year by introducing a new stage on Place George-V, the SiriusXM Cube, which will host festive evenings dedicated to electronic music. It is a multi-sided stage allowing visitors to enjoy the shows from three different angles. From 28 to 30, let yourself be carried away by the sounds of Loud Luxury, Klingande and High Klassified. Also explore the Winter Village with its heated areas, relaxation areas and a warm atmosphere to enjoy a drink.

A Countdown Worthy of a Mic Drop

On December 31, the whole community comes together to celebrate New Year's Eve with a big free show. We welcome the year 2024 in style with the traditional music of Le Diable à Cinq, the much-appreciated performance of Les Louanges, the rhythms of Québec DJ Mike Demero and the Italian musical phenomenon Meduza.

Watch the screen and count down to the New Year with revellers from around the world. Ring in the New Year, outside, like a boss, in one of the historical cities in Canada. Mic drop.
