Just a few minutes from Old Québec, you’ll find a fine selection of golf courses where you can play a round and enjoy everything else the region has to offer, including great restaurants, European-style cafés, and ample shopping

Club de Golf Royal Québec

Founded in 1874, Royal Québec is a semi-private golf club that’s considered one of the oldest in North America. The traditional course and classic country-club atmosphere will make you feel like you’ve landed in the early 1900s, while the stately clubhouse boasts a spectacular view of Québec City and Île d’Orléans.

Golf la Tempête

La Tempête delivers a world-class experience on a world-class course. The club has hosted a number of prestigious events and is known for its high-performance academy. Guests are welcome but must book their tee time at least three days in advance. There are also golf-and-stay packages in partnership with Bonne Entente, a luxurious hotel in Québec City.

Golfing and Gorgeous Views

Golfing in Québec City is a unique way to enjoy incredible scenery from May to October.

In September and October, traffic on the courses dies down and the trees turn vibrant shades of yellow, orange, and red, making it a great time to play. Le Grand Vallon and Golf Mont-Sainte-Anne have Mont Sainte-Anne as a stunning backdrop, while the course at Grand Portneuf is designed around a winding river surrounded by rolling hills. Mont Tourbillon is at the foot of a mountain in Lac-Beauport and counts former Québec Premier Jean Lesage as one of its founding members. As for De la Faune, it’s the only golf course in the area with accommodation onsite.
