Sebastian Gaskin is a Toronto-based R&B singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who grew up in Manitoba's Tataskweyak Cree Nation. Fueled by his eclectic musical tastes in R&B, Hip Hop, Metal, and Punk, his music is anything but ordinary. It is characterized by boldness, emotion, and instinct.
His talent and expressive voice were recognized in 2021 with the R&B Artist of the Year award at the Western Canadian Music Awards as well as the Kevin Walters Songwriting Award. Following the release of his debut EP, Contradictions, Sebastian toured across Canada and opened for artists such as Common, T-Pain, and Buffy Sainte-Marie.
