What better way to kick off Day 2 in Québec City than with some much-needed downward dog? Travel blogger Oneika Raymond finds a spot on the floor and gets this yoga class in session. In case you’re wondering, this is no ordinary yoga studio, it’s Le Monastère des Augustines, open for tourists to explore, enjoy a wellness retreat and spend the night, all in historical fashion. Talk about sweet dreams!

Next up, Oneika visits a homegrown rooftop garden with Chef Arnaud Marchand at Chez Boulay. Here, she samples the freshest of freshly picked boreal ingredients grown in the chef’s urban garden and gets to taste his Nordic-inspired cuisine. Miam! That’s French for “yum!” Be sure to stop in at the store to pick up a recipe book and some delicious ingredients.

The highlight of her day? Getting to meet dancer and choreographer Aïcha Bastien-N’Diaye, from Huron-Wendat, African and Québécois roots, around some afternoon tea at the Château Frontenac, served with a side of Québécois slang. She finishes off her day on a high note while taking in the high-flying sights at an outdoor circus show. Oh, and did we mention admittance is totally free?
