The best places to watch the fireworks for free in Québec City:
Several spots let you enjoy the fireworks while discovering the city from a different perspective.
Place des Canotiers: Located along the river, it offers a clear view of the sky with the Château Frontenac in the background. This is the official site of the Grands Feux, where themed entertainment is featured every evening.
Dufferin Terrace: This iconic boardwalk at the foot of Château Frontenac lets you admire the fireworks in a lively and vibrant atmosphere.
Parc Montmorency: A quieter choice, this park offers a green setting to watch the sky light up, while still being close to the activities of Old Québec.
Pierre-Dugua-De Mon Terrace: Perched high above the city, it is renowned for its breathtaking panoramic view of both the city and the river—an ideal spot to take in the fireworks in all their splendor.
