Museums

As an irresistible destination on the Plains of Abraham, the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec invites you to experience architecture and nature by falling under the spell of its magnificent reference collection of Québec art.

The Musée offers an exceptional panorama of Québec art, with a collection of more than 42,500 works dating from the 17th century to the present day. Situated between city and nature, its prime location gives it a distinctive charm. Major exhibitions, activities for all ages, a gourmet café and a bookstore-boutique ensure a memorable experience. An exceptional destination where the art of Québec and beyond brings people together.

This fall, the Museum will inaugurate the Espace Riopelle pavilion, which will house the largest public collection of works by Jean Paul Riopelle.
