Fans of Canadian music from the late ’80s and early ’90s will remember The Grapes Of Wrath, a standout band known for its ’60s-inspired harmonies. With songs like Peace Of Mind, Backward Town, and All The Things I Wasn’t, the group dominated radio and earned one gold and two platinum records.
Formed in 1978 by Kevin, Tom, and Chris Hooper, the band rose to prominence between 1984 and 1992, releasing an EP and four albums, moving from Nettwerk to Capitol/EMI. After disbanding in 1992, they reunited in the late ’90s and again in 2010.
Today, Kevin and Tom perform as an acoustic duo, offering intimate reinterpretations of their classics, deeper cuts, and a few new songs along with the stories behind them.
