Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Jazzlab Orchestra presents Slip of Time, a new album featuring ten original compositions by members of the ensemble, alongside works by François Bourassa, Gentiane MG and Pierre de Bethmann. Blending tradition with innovation, the album explores a rich sonic landscape where rhythm, texture and color redefine contemporary jazz.
The album also pays tribute to Mario Allard, a cherished member of the orchestra who passed away in 2025. His final recorded performance with the ensemble stands as a moving testament to his lasting musical legacy.
