The Dan Thouin Trio and the Maîtrise des Petits Chanteurs de Québec reunite once again to celebrate Christmas with selections from A Charlie Brown Christmas, the beloved album by American jazz pianist Vince Guaraldi. Expect a magical evening, with Thouin on piano joined by Morgan Moore (double bass) and Louis-Vincent Hamel (drums).
Released in 1965, this iconic recording remains one of the most cherished Christmas albums of all time and introduced an entire generation to jazz. In addition to pieces from A Charlie Brown Christmas, the program will feature a few holiday classics arranged in the unmistakable Vince Guaraldi style.
