Constan­ti­nople : Oum Kalthoum et Omar Khayyam

This production pays tribute to Oum Kalthoum and her legendary interpretations of the quatrains of Persian poet Omar Khayyam.

Constantinople and singer Ghalia Benali revisit this rich legacy through arrangements by Kiya Tabassian, blending Persian and Arab traditions with early and contemporary music. Works by Bach, Marais and Cantemir complete the program.

A moving journey where poetry, memory and creation come together in celebration of two timeless figures.
