In the winter, go speckled trout fishing on lakes Proulx and Lindsay. Ice fishing may be combined with snowshoeing and cross-country skiing under certain conditions.

Two of the most spectacular hiking trails in this wildlife preserve can be found at the Bellevue Lake campground. Stretch your legs in the great outdoors while admiring the view!

There are 42 fully-equipped cottages scattered across the wildlife preserve, each able to accommodate from 2 to 14 people. Eighteen cottages are available during the winter.

This reserve, which is the pride of the county of Portneuf, covers some 775 sq. km (484 sq. mi.). The hilly terrain is dotted with over 375 lakes, rivers and waterfalls, including Marmite Falls. Winter activities: cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, nature walks and sledding. Summer activities: fishing, hunting, canoeing and camping.

You can fish (speckled trout, splake, mountain trout, lake trout and musky) or hunt small game, bear, white-tailed deer and moose in the scenic wilderness of this preserve.
