This cross-country ski centre was created in 2021 by a team of volunteers who wanted to establish a community recreational site open to skiers of all levels. The popularity of Ski de fond Stoneham grew quickly on account of the quality of the trails and public interest. There are 15 km (9.3 miles) of traditional cross-country ski trails, nearly 7 km (4.3 miles) of ski skating trails and an enchanted forest for young children. The site is located on a golf course, with relatively flat terrain.
