With a sandy beach and great recreational facilities a 5-minute drive from downtown Québec City, Beauport Bay is the perfect place to have fun outdoors on a sunny summer day. A number of nautical activities may be practised at this site, which is located along the St. Lawrence River. It is possible to go swimming in the bay when conditions permit. The play areas, refreshing water jets and pump track trail are very popular with families. During the concerts held here on the occasional summer evening, the site becomes an enormous outdoor dance floor. Beauport Bay is also accessible from the Corridor du Littoral bike path.
