Built in 1804, this historical dwelling initially served as a tollhouse, but is now open to the public as an interpretation centre. A guide is always on hand to present an exhibit on the generations of the Déry family who lived in this house. During your visit, you will also find out more about the role of the tollhouse, the stagecoaches that stopped here, the building’s architecture and fishing on the Jacques-Cartier River. Additionally, you will hear several interesting anecdotes about the Déry site.
