Two Choirs for Christmas

Ensemble vocal Dal Segno and the Maîtrise des Petits Chanteurs de Québec come together for a remarkable concert featuring nearly one hundred voices of women and children.

Each choir will first present a selection of works on its own before joining forces for several shared pieces. The program will highlight original arrangements of well-known classics by Dan Forrest, John Rutter, John Williams and Mark Hayes, along with contemporary works by Kim André Arnesen, Frode Fjellheim, Michael John Trotta and Anna Rocławska-Musiałczyk.

Under the artistic direction of Anne Gilbert and Guillaume St-Gelais, the choristers are eagerly preparing to offer this free concert to the people of Québec, just days before Christmas and at the heart of the German Christmas Market festivities. Voluntary contributions will be welcomed and shared between the participating organizations and the Fabrique Notre-Dame-de-Québec.
