Smash Ice Climbing Competition

The Smash Ice Climbing Competition is a one-of-a-kind winter event held at Montmorency Falls Park, as part of the Québec Winter Carnival 2026. Participants and ice climbers will face off in thrilling head-to-head duels on 30 to 60-meter ice walls, in front of an audience of more than 5,000 spectators. At the base of the frozen falls, a vibrant winter village welcomes visitors with exhibitors, fires, music, and warm food and drinks. A breathtaking event where sport, nature, and winter culture meet in an extraordinary setting.
