Dreams and Stories weaves a thread between imagination, memory, and emotion. From European Romantic miniatures to melodies rooted in Korean folklore, passing through contemporary soundscapes and the neon lights of Broadway, each work becomes a fragment of history—a shared memory or a fleeting dream. Joanne Yesol Choi and Kevin Ahfat, outstanding young Toronto-based artists named among CBC Music’s “30 Hot Canadian Classical Musicians Under 30,” guide us as narrators on an inner journey where music gives voice to the dreams and stories that connect us.
