Alain Couture first made a name for himself as the lead singer of Mercedes Band, a group that lit up Québec households in the 1990s on the hit TV show L’Heure J.M.P., hosted by Jean-Marc Parent. Over the years, he’s lent his voice to studio sessions and live tours for major artists such as Céline Dion, Johnny Hallyday, Garou, Luc Plamondon, Ginette Reno, Bon Jovi, Aldo Nova, Frank Marino, Éric Lapointe, and Luba.

With a similar raspy voice and striking physical resemblance, it was only natural for Alain to pay tribute to Rod Stewart, an artist he’s admired since his teenage years. He delivers passionate renditions of classics like Maggie May, Forever Young, Baby Jane, Hot Legs, Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?, I Don’t Want to Talk About It, Sailing, Tonight’s the Night, and Some Guys Have All the Luck.
