Archaeology Month

Archaeology Month takes place every year during the month of August. From the 1st to the 31st, nearly 50 places throughout Québec offer activities for all, made to measure to attract both novices and enthusiasts, young and old. For 31 days, immerse yourself in archaeology and allow it to deepen your understanding of our society, our history and our heritage.

On the occasion of the 20th edition of Archaeology Month, Archéo-Québec invites you to discover the world of archaeology in all its facets. A variety of activities will be offered by our Network so that the profession of archaeologist will hold no more secrets for you! Archaeology Month brings together archaeologists, municipalities, parks, museums, and other venues to offer you an enriching and diverse program.
