In his new role he will promote the region throughout Asia. Filming in 2016 elevated not just the Québec City region but the province as a whole, which has since become a favourite destination for South Koreans living in Canada. Steve was also involved in the highly popular reality television show My Wife's Secret Recipe. These two shows were a major factor in attracting more Asian visitors to Québec City.
“The secret is out! I’m very proud of my hometown, and I’m not shy about sharing my love of Québec City with all its charms. It’s the inspiration behind many of my special pieces. This new partnership lets us join forces and invite millions of travelers from Asia to visit our beautiful city,” said the musician shortly after his arrival in South Korea to perform in five major cities.
