Why theatre? What’s it for? What is it about? These are the questions legendary Peter Brook and his collaborator Marie-Hélène Estienne are asking in this potentially testamentary play for the 95-year-old Englishman. Dressed in black, three talented actors offer their answers, from within an “empty space” (a concept dear to the director), furnished with a simple carpet, some chairs and three costume stands. Written and directed by Peter Brook and Marie-Hélène Estienne (Paris)
