To make a long story short, this third-wave ska-punk band, that always comes ready for an energetic show and a hell of a party, had to prove themselves while dealing with a legal battle with Catch 22 that even implicated the Victory Records label. Despite all the obstacles and their many differences over the years, Streetlight Manifesto was able to get noticed by connecting to a larger audience with the release of Everything Goes Numb (2003), and has continued to garner concerted critical reception from one album to the next.
