Opening of the 350th Anniversary Celebrations of the Catholic Church

An opening mass will take place at the Basilica-Cathedral of Notre-Dame-de-Québec. The general public is invited to join the celebration on the main square of City Hall, where there will be festive musical entertainment and special activities, created in collaboration with the team from the Quebec German Christmas Market.
On this occasion, the Holy Door – the only one in America – will be opened following a solemn ritual.
The door will be accessible to people from both near and far throughout the jubilee year.
