Undoubtedly one of the most popular Franco rappers in North American, Loud is at the top of his game and back at the FEQ this year, following a concert at Place Georges-V in 2019 that was interrupted by a violent storm. After making his mark as part the band Loud Lary Ajust at the start of the 2010s, Simon Cliche Trudeau launched his solo career with Une année record (2017), which dominated the Quebec hip-hop scene thanks to the album’s enthusiastic critical success, impressive sales and sold-out shows. More than ever, the rapper from Ahuntsic is riding the momentum and his popularity is growing among audiences at home and in Europe.
