Le Bodyguard

The Bodyguard tells the story of a former Secret Service agent turned elite bodyguard, Frank Farmer, who is hired to unwillingly protect superstar Rachel Marron from an anonymous stalker. The diva is not willing to compromise, and neither is the professional bodyguard, who reluctantly accepts the assignment. Each one thinks that he will lead the game, until the beautiful one and his protector are surprised by the birth of a passionate love story...

The mythical tandem of superstar Rachel Marron (Whitney Houston) and her bodyguard Frank Farmer (Kevin Costner) will be played by Jennifer-Lee Dupuy, a young Haitian-born singer-songwriter from Quebec who was a real revelation to the production team, and Frédérick De Grandpré, a well-known actor and singer who has appeared on screen in the series Le Négociateur, Lance et compte, District 31 and on stage in the musicals Je m'voyais déjà and Le petit roi.

The musical will feature songs from the acclaimed Bodyguard soundtrack such as Queen of the Night, Run to You, I Have Nothing and one of the biggest hits of all time, I Will Always Love You, all originally performed by the legendary Whitney Houston. The Bodyguard also incorporates other favorites by the woman known as "The Voice" including One Moment in Time, Saving All My Love for you, Greatest Love Of All and I Wanna Dance With Somebody.
