Grand-Mess'

14 performers, a bird and an array of multidisciplinary designers will take over Limoilou's magnificent Saint-Charles church with their gentle madness, for a very special celebration. After a decade of impressing crowds the world over, Machine de Cirque returns to its home town with this new creation.

Grand-Mess' is a jubilant existential parade-show. Before the public's eyes, an improbable and playful community makes the church its home. A chaotic, festive gathering, Grand-Mess' is a celebration in which we try to find - with pain and misery and humor - a common meaning to our absurd existence. For life is a never-ending procession that we have not chosen to follow. It has no meaning - or rather, it has only one: onwards and upwards!
