Descente Royale Québec

This event is back for a 35th year, challenging some 2,000 runners and walkers to give it their all down a legendary course that’s more than 95% downhill.

The Oasis 10K is a fast course starting at the intersection of Des Saphirs Street and Trudelle Boulevard. The course runs down Des Dunes, Des Résurgences and Montmorency Streets, Royale Avenue and Vallée Street toward the finish line on Des Chutes Boulevard.

More than 95% of the Descente Royale de Québec course is downhill. The total vertical drop is 120 metres over 10 kilometres—that’s an average gradient of 1.2%.
