Dena Mwana en concert

Dena Mwana is a gospel singer-songwriter and worship leader from the Democratic Republic of Congo. She is also a worship and praise leader.

An artist with the Happy People Africa label since its inception in 2013, she has written around fifty songs, including three studio albums and numerous singles in various languages, including French, English, Lingala, and Swahili. She has also collaborated musically with both francophone and anglophone artists such as Dan Luiten, Glorious, Limoblaze, Athoms Mbuma, Gwen Dressaire, Calledout Music, Deborah Lukalu, and others.

Nominated multiple times and awarded at the African Gospel Music & Media Awards in 2013 and 2019 in London, Dena has shared the stage with many renowned artists such as Ada Ehi, Lecrae, L’or Mbongo, Nathanael Bassey, and Mohammed Sanogo. She has performed more than two hundred times across nearly 20 countries worldwide.

Today, she is considered a leading figure in African and francophone gospel music. She began her professional career as an artist in 2011, and since then, she has continued to grow, now filling major venues around the world.
