Five years after the EPs Big Boy and Main Girl, finally in 2021 the very talented Charlotte Cardin’s career reached new heights, with the release of her much-anticipated album Phoenix, where she explores vulnerability, contradictions and troubles of the heart. Combining soul songs with introspective pop ballads, this first effort led her to win over a large audience, and to quickly become known internationally. Whether on Passive Aggressive, Daddy or Meaningless, the singer-songwriter’s catchy songs and fragile voice show off her singular artistic voice. Currently one of Quebec’s most recognized singers, Charlotte Cardin is preparing for a show at FEQ 2022 that promises to be unforgettable.
