A number of activities will be held on July 3, to celebrate the anniversary of the founding of Québec City. Many free activities will take place!
Programming
Near City Hall
10 a.m. - Musical Mass (Notre-Dame de Québec Basilica-Cathedral, 16 De Buade Street)
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. - Guided tour in the heart of Old Quebec. Thanks to the Tourist Guides Association, discover three must-visit locations in Old Quebec.
- Explanations in French: on the hour, every hour
- Explanations in English: at half past the hour, every hour
11:30 a.m. - Historic declaration in the presence of the Mayor of Quebec (City Hall Gardens)
12 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Street Performances. The public can enjoy the multiple talents of our street performers.
1 p.m. to 7 p.m. - Animated tours of City Hall. Visitors will meet characters from various eras and backgrounds who have shaped the history of Quebec City. Their stories will evoke a legitimate and contagious sense of pride, the pride of living in Quebec City.
At Place Jean-Béliveau
3 p.m. to 5 p.m. - Quebec City Zone. Visit this area set up specifically for the event and learn more about several services offered by the City.
Picnic
Take advantage of the food offerings on-site or bring your own meal to have a picnic before the show!
Outdoor Games
Play games in the wooded area of ExpoCité with the Sociojeux team.
