Useful information

At Cap Tourmente, you can admire the gorgeous landscape comprising the St. Lawrence River, large coastal marshes, lowlands and mountains. A major Canadian bird-watching site where you can watch the impressive flocks of Snow Geese that migrate every spring and fall. Twenty kilometres (12 miles) of clearly marked walking trails, take part in a number of different interpretation activities and borrow free wildlife and plant discovery tools.

Schedule and Details

Hours: April 19 to October 27, 2019: Open daily, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (though opens at 6:30 a.m. May 11, 12, 18, 19, 20, 25 and 26, 2020); October 28 to December 20, 2019: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Closed weekends and on November 11; January 6 to March 20, 2020: Open daily, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; March 21 to 31, 2020: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., closed weekends.

Admission: Adult: $6; Student: $5; Winter: $4; Child under 12 accompanied by an adult: Free. Pass and group rates available.

Closed: December 21, 2019, to January 5, 2020: Closed.

Minimum duration of a visit: 1 h
