A figure in period costume will be your guide as you immerse yourself in Huron-Wendat culture. While exploring a reconstituted village, you can learn about an age-old lifestyle. Visit a giant teepee, a longhouse, and smoking and drying huts. Listen to a storyteller recount fascinating tales and legends. Expert craftspeople will show you how snowshoes and canoes, both traditional means of transportation, are made. You can also participate in different workshops, those sre popular with children. For a complete sensory experience, sample traditional Wendat cuisine at the onsite restaurant.

Here is the perfect place to learn about the history, traditions and folklore of the Huron-Wendat people. You will feel you have stepped back in time as you tour a longhouse, smokehouse sweat lodge, and fish and meat drying racks. Your guide will help you discover the rich history of the Huron-Wendat, as well as experience their vibrant present. Many other activities held onsite.
